Position Summary:
The CCS Service Facilitator Supervisor (SFS) provides supervision to CCS Service Facilitators in addition to providing CCS service facilitation to clients. CCS service facilitation is defined as community-based care coordination services to individuals with high-level needs across environments including home, school, and community. The SFS will report to the Director of Mental Health Services. All RCC employees must be committed to providing services with and to a variety of clients with cultural awareness, sensitivity and humility; and all employees must complete the RCC Helpline training.
Primary Position Duties:
Supervision

Provides best practices, self-care, and ethical practice for RCC Comprehensive Community Services.

Assess current service provision for cultural competency and develop strategies for serving the needs of all historically excluded populations and clients.

Participate in RCC’s ongoing internal strategies to maintain culturally diverse and inclusive services and agency environment.

Develop measurement tools to continuously evaluate client services and ensure services and staff capabilities meet the needs of the community.

Ensure CCS Service Facilitators successfully engage in continued, culturally relevant individual and group professional development in order to provide high quality service facilitation.

Manage CCS Department activities including organizing and facilitating department meetings, planning, implementing and evaluating long-range goals, and annual work plan development.

Provide guidance and support that ensures the success of CCS Service Facilitators, assist in the development of goals for their professional growth, provide administrative supervision, facilitate weekly individual and group staff meetings, and conduct performance reviews.

Ensure staff have trauma-informed services supervision and work in collaboration to identify client trends, training needs, and supervision needs.

Actively engage as a member of the CCS staff by providing technical and emotional support to other members of the CCS staff.
Service Facilitation

Provide psycho-social rehabilitation, psychoeducation, skill development/training, and individual skill development and enhancement that promotes self-determination and empowerment for clients.

Keep the calendar up to date.

Keep accurate client records.
-
CCS case notes entered into the county module.

Develop and maintain an expertise in methods of psycho-social support that are most effective for a range of clients based on their race, ethnicity, gender, gender identification, religion, age, ability, or other factors.

Provide regular reports and information to the Director of Mental Health Services regarding service gaps, themes in client needs, areas for client services improvement, and professional development needs and support needs.

Attend regular staff meetings and in-services, maintain regular contact with staff and supervisor, document services provided, and assist in office operations.

Commitment to supporting RCC’s values of serving all clients in Dane County, and an understanding of privilege and oppression and its impact on client needs and services.

Strong verbal communication skills.

Comfortable working as a part of a team, as well as independently.

Commitment to serving clients through a client-centered, trauma-informed service approach.

Education & Skills:
Required Qualifications
-
A master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other related field. Must have LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

Maintain licensing and training records.
-
Experience providing services to clients of color, LGBTQIA+ clients and other historically excluded clients.

Clear, demonstrated understanding of violence and trauma.
-
Commitment to using a trauma-informed, empowerment-based model.
-
Ability to work flexible hours.
-
Satisfactory criminal background check.
-
Understanding of privilege, oppression, and its impact on client needs and services.
-
Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
-
Extensive experience working with survivors of trauma.
Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Personal and professional experience in communities of color.

Knowledge of Dane County community resources.
